There's something odd about the Canada graph. It continues to show about one death per million per day, while yesterday's death toll was eleven deaths for 37 million people, or less than one-third of a death per million per day.

Perhaps a matter of sources and when they pull from where. The last seven days of deaths reported/recorded on the day as collected by Johns Hopkins:

      6/22/2021 6/23/2021 6/24/2021 6/25/2021 6/26/2021 6/27/2021 6/28/2021
      18 23 18 12 10 3 28

That said, perhaps Kevin also has a different population figure for Canada? I'm using 37.4 million (something from the UN). For the trailing 7-day average of per-million, per-day I have:
      6/22/2021 6/23/2021 6/24/2021 6/25/2021 6/26/2021 6/27/2021 6/28/2021
      0.680 0.580 0.603 0.603 0.542 0.504 0.428

I believe Kevin also pulls from Johns Hopkins, and I would assume then he has a very different population figure, but the overall he reports at 701 cumulative deaths per million is consistent with what I get.

I just noticed that the x axis on the Canada graph ends at June 1, and it has been that way since June 1. We're not seeing the latest in those plots.

US Adults vaccination (at least one dose): 66.1%
States about to cross the 70% threshold:
    DE, 69.8%
    MN, 69.7%
and still has a chance to make it by July 4th
    CO, 69.5%
    OR, 69.4%
and PR has been making a last minute charge, now at 66.7%

Still below 50% adults and 40% overall vaccination rates:
    AL, WY, LA and MI

MO outbreak hasn't spread past AR...yet.

The Canadian graph seems to be a little off the right path indeed. "Our World in Data" shows as of June 29th a 7-day-average of 0,47 for Canada
    (0,84 US; 0,56 Germany; 0,52 Italy; 0,51 France; 0,26 Sweden; 0,25 UK)
