Here is Hilbert making himself at home in the storage ottoman in front of my chair. He's resting on the quilt Marian made for me, which keeps me warm on chilly dex nights that I spend downstairs.

Okay, OT, but I really like the hummingbirds more than the cats. No offense. Cats are awesome, too, but, how the hell does Drum get those shots of hummingbirds. I've sat watching them in my own backyard and wondered.
Okay, OT. I almost forgot, but about the Pete Buttigieg (Secretary of Transportation) recent almost inappropriate attention by the press to the birth of his children. If it's not the most blatant hypocrisy. And I don't know how it even made mention, but I know it was enough that it was referred to on some of the streams I monitor. Let's leave new parents and their babies alone, at least. Anyone disagree?
Really, it's just the camera. The Sony I bought a few years ago has an awesome zoom lens, super fast shutter speeds, and great burst mode. I just point it in the right direction, hold down the shutter button, and take a hundred shots at a time. Eventually I get one that's great.
Cool. But even at that, I've sat still while hummingbirds very occassionaly come and go and it's the 'pointing it in the right direction' part that seems like it takes, um, skill. Love those photos.

Marian will surely make another one for you if that other stunning creation, the B&W one, isn't available for some reason - like Hopper claiming it.
Cats rule & therefore get first dibs - but you knew that.
