My sister has informed me in no uncertain terms that she expects cat blogging today. None of this horse nonsense like I had last Friday.
No problem! Here is Hilbert in Marian's sewing room upstairs, sitting in the chair that's supposed to be for me when I come in to visit. It's rarely available, though, since Hilbert is so taken with it. Life is hard sometimes.
Love seeing the cats. Your cats come across as the feline equivalent of prosperous Victorians in, say, a Trollop novel -- not only are they well fed and happy, they appear utterly secure in their conviction that the universe is most justly and appropriately ordered for their benefit.
All that is needed is a duplicate of my print that announces: "This house exists strictly for the comfort of the black cat."
Phantom is gone from our lives, but little tortoiseshell Katy will move to my former seat when I leave the room, then move back to her former spot on seeing me return. Naturally considerate!
Obviously, Hilbert sees no reason to accommodate Mr. Drum's arrival. Wonder if Hopper would be more considerate, but then Hilbert is Marian's cat, so likely would be the cat to have full rights...
Sometimes the planning of the murder can be left behind for a good sit.
Thank goodness for your sister!
So, do you not know how to move a cat out of a chair, or do you not know why to move a cat out of a chair?
There is no why.
Because that's what sisters do....
“Yeah, I don’t see your name on this chair,” sez Hilbert. “Adorablenessity (?) has its privileges.” ....... My new dog— at 4 years and 45 pounds the youngest dog I’ve had in 20 years and the smallest ever —- has discovered that she loves curling up and falling asleep in the living room poofy chair that I usually sit in to watch the tv. ... Sitting on the metal folding chair isn’t so bad.
Thank you Inkblot's Aunt!
"Your" chair is invariably where the cat wants to be. It's just our bad luck that cats are just the size of the human butt.
Clearly the chair has Hilbert's name on it. Just look at all the fur on the fabric 🙂
