Oh, cats know. I don't understand what evolutionary process could make a creature want to look like they're disinterested in those they love when they actually are, but it is a real thing. I never understood why a cat would lie about seemingly disinterested in me when I'm in the room, get up and run after me when I leave, and then saunter by me as if she just happened to be walking by.
