There are nine species of lovebirds (genus Agapornis). Eight occur in Africa, while the ninth is found in Madagascar. They are typically found in relatively dry, open habitats.
Because they are commonly kept as cagebirds, feral populations can be found worldwide in warmer climates.
jabberwocking?!?!
I was hoping to see you sitting on your bench again as calpundit!
Well, okay!
I just added Jabberwocking to my feed reader, an activity that feels weirdly old-fashioned, but very nice.
This all feels comfortingly 2003. I may need to curse at Don Rumsfeld just for the memories.
Hooray for the new blog making slightly larger versions of photo available (via "Open image in new tab")! The astronomy photos especially suffered, when being squeezed down to the 500px (or whatever) width of the main content, without any larger version accompanying it for us turbo-nerds to peruse.
