Looks like cases are falling in MI. Still high, but dropping. Hospitalizations are leveling off, but deaths may still be on the rise. Vaccines helped--but a lot of that would be due to people wearing masks again.
If we're lucky, cases may be leveling off in PR.
NM back in the pool, so 9 states plus NMI below 10 new cases/day/100K. And 13 plus PR above 25 with MI in the lead at 69 followed by NJ at 39, though those rates are falling.
Vaccinations (1st shot): NH at 59% yet rate for cases still at 26--but falling quickly now.
Next batch in 49 to 50% range: CT, ME, MA--are case rates high: 26, 33, 26 but falling (finally).
At the low end: MS is just below 30%, case rate at 9.
Next batch, 30 to 32%: AL and LA with case rates just above 10.
MI is at 39% first shot, NJ at 47%.
If we're even more lucky, we won't see another day with deaths over 1,000 for the country or 100 for any given state due to Covid19--and caseloads will be dropping everywhere.
