Hey, y'all! It's V-C Day: Victory Over The Confederacy Day!
April 9th is a glorious anniversary: the day Gen. Ulysses S. Grant, Commanding General of the US Army, received the surrender of Robert E. Lee, a renegade US Army Colonel who was a leader of a violent rebellion against the United States, which killed hundreds of thousands of Americans.
So get out and celebrate!
I like that.
Instead of worrying about Southern Sensibilities, celebrate the civil war as a victory over the tyranny of slavery. Modern southerners should treat the Confederates as the Germans treat the Nazis.
Start doing Civil War reenactments with the Yanks becoming like Cartman on South Park.
Burn Vicksburg again.
CO flipped--now in the red zone (25 or more new cases/day/100K)
NV no longer yeller' (trended above 10)
MI the nightmare continues. It's daily death rate is also going up--just passed NJ and NY. (CovidActNow)
For good news, the rate of new cases/day in NY and NJ may actually be falling. Note, their deaths rate have basically stayed steady or declined, though remaining at a fairly high level, during the recent surge in cases and hospitalizations.

Ok, using a series of spaces does not help to separate columns....
testing:
spaces one
spaces two
spaces five
tabs....don't work, so maybe periods?
Let's try an actual HTML table:
OneTwoThree
OneFourNine
Well, that was a complete failure. How about the "pre" or "code" tags:
One Two Three
One Four Nine
One Two Three
One Four Nine
Well, <code> </code> kind of works.
