Here in NC our number of cases is down
Disturbingly the numbers of tests conducted are down as well
Are the DEMs doing what Trump alluded to? STOP THE TESTS and the numbers will go down?
Unless there's some order for everyone to be regularly tested, it makes sense that as cases drop, testing goes down, too. Aside from a few groups whose employers test them regularly, most people go for a test if they think they might have been exposed to Covid and/or are displaying symptoms. As fewer people are getting exposed/sick, fewer are seeking tests. The key number is the positivity rate -- as long as that's declining as well, it's a good sign.
Look at the positive percentage rate. Here in California tests are down somewhat but the positive percentage rate is also down, from about 14% to under 4%. New cases are down quite a bit throughout the USA. The holiday season was not a happy time. Most of the people getting the vaccine are older, and we are starting to see stories of very few cases in elder care facilities. I expect the death rate to go down by quite a bit very soon.
You better keep an eye on SC. There cases are running high.
(Hey--that works with there or their, though not they're)
I hope HAMBISCUITS! (who already had COVID, if memory serves) ends up a long-hauler.
Will be interesting if, on his ventilated deathbed, he has an epiphany like his fellow Palmetto State GOP reprobate Lee Atwater, just replacing apology for the racialized campaign tricks for admitting he acquired the services of the DMV's finest rentboys.
