    Numbers still falling, slowly. The data dump from IL throws this week off a little. But even though numbers (cases, hospitalizations, etc.) are getting better, they are still high. Most states are still at "active outbreak" levels. Some have dropped to "high risk of outbreak" levels.
    Same song....same verse?
    NPR did a piece of # of infectious people. Granted, it doesn't show regional concentrations--though that was more important when we were experiencing regional outbreaks.

    Looks like some states, e.g. NY, showed dip in testing due to weather, but that's not really affecting national numbers much. The "bible belt" plus NY, NJ and CT are not dropping as fast as the rest of the country.
