Sadly, Thursday's report of negative deaths did not indicate a breakthrough in resurrection technology. It was just a mistake that's now been fixed. In reality, 428 people died of COVID-19 on Thursday and 436 on Friday.
Here’s the officially reported coronavirus death toll through June 11. The raw data from Johns Hopkins is here.
Two test positive for COVID-19 on first Caribbean cruise. Most aboard are vaccinated,

Obviously there is no possible way anyone could have anticipated this.
LOL
CNN has a write up about the difference in vaccination levels between red and blue states:

MS still hasn't made it above 35%--now at 34.9% (first dose, total population).
(CDC covid tracker)
There are still a number of hotspots (14 with infectivity >1.1), most with <40% vacciations (first dose, full population). Note: vaccinations and cases can vary significantly with in a given city or area.
How is the CDC handling Florida reporting once per week? It reported 280 deaths yesterday. Worldometers seems to have spread them out over the past week. I don’t know if Florida is just reporting a lump sum or the numbers for each day of the week, but only reporting on Friday. It’s also reporting over 2,000 new cases per day which seems rather high.
Where's Shooty to claim that white & GQP vaxxx rate in MS is 80% while Black & Democrat vaxxx rate is under 10%?
If the data at Johns Hopkins is an indication, Florida is reporting the week’s total on the one day.
Certainly not the first time. Likely not the last.
Why it is sometimes necessary to dig below the top line figures.
fyi: Ed Yong won a Pulitzer prize for his Covid reporting:

Well deserved.
and another sign we're in the end days, he has a second non-Covid new article out:

But did his Atlantic colleague Conor Friedersdorf get a Pulitzer for his own reporting on the Critical Race Theory controversy?
I've gone ahead and updated my US spreadsheet at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ymc191k5T37xgUlOuK3SBI9PQtZxm_aVwDnncICh85c/edit?usp=sharing Including the RedBlue tab.
