NY and RI still holding in the 30's new cases/day/100K avg. NJ went up into the 40's. For the most part, hospitalizations and deaths still dropping. ICU occupancy steady for NY and RI, dropping in NJ.

No change for those below 10: NMI, HI, PR, OR, CA, KS, WA, NM, WI, WY. And a few more are on the cusp (come back tomorrow!).
    (fyi: NMI=Northern Marianas Islands)

Did note a drop in total vaccinations (1st shot) in CT along with jump in "fully vaccinated". Presumably they are still trying to figure out how to code single shot vaccinations, aka. J&J. Me, I'm doing the J&B shot--boosters every night, just in case.

Do be careful. Safety and efficacy of the J & B varies by patient, as I understand. And accidental overdosing is a frequent occurrence.

Looking at this I come away with the impression that from July 1st to October 1st the Americas acted as a reservoir for the virus to infect the rest of the world once the northern hemisphere weather became more suited to transmission.
