Detection of the COVID-19 virus in wastewater has doubled since June:
Hi US friends- there is a clear rise in SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater, suggesting a rise in cases and all the things that accompany that (https://t.co/FQPYUBJSxj). A reminder of some things you can (still) do to help reduce the risk of COVID:

How worried should we be about this? I can't say for sure, but here's a chart with a little more context to it:
On the one hand, wastewater monitoring clearly shows only a very small rise. On the other hand, every time previously there's been a rise as big as a doubling it turns out to be just the start of a bigger rise.
My take: yeah, we should probably be a little worried. By late August we should know just how bad this is likely to get.
Three in my household had it this month, as well as my mother and several friends in other states. All were nearly asymptomatic, other than bad congestion and a little fatigue. No fever aches, etc. All are boosted.
This wave, if it ends up being one, could end up very mild compared to the past waves. Hopefully the response mirrors that.
Real on the web home based work to make more than $14k. Last month I made $15738 from this home job. Very simple and easy to do and procuring from this are just awesome. For more detail visit the given interface.. http://incomebyus.blogspot.com
Do not take your eyes off the ball...
Hoping it’s deadly to unvaccinated republicans and that idiot trump!
I was going to get a booster last week and was reminded that a new version was coming out this fall. I decided to wait. I’ve never had it. ???? super immunity!
A summertime peak has occurred every year. Hospital admissions are also rising now, although they're still at a lower rate than at any time in 2021 and 2022.
I will be less worried this year. I'm one of those teachers that left the classroom. The cell phones were bad, the fallout from Covid-19 among students worse, and the chances of contracting Covid-19 in the classroom again were the final straw. I value my health too much.
My son starts kindergarten in a month >_<
We got vaccinated, boosted, boosted with new formula and got it in December. I took paxlovid and hot a rebound. My long covid is that my body now makes a lot more mucus than it used to before I got it when I get sick so I get ear infections when I just used to get over the colds.
I have lung damage, taking Covid seriously is with me for the rest of my life.
Covid is over.
No longer vaxxing, no longer testing, no longer masking.
Don't care anymore.
Big scary Covid is probably over. Little annoying Covid will probably be with us for the duration.
I was surprised when a healthy person I know (yoga instructor) came down with COVID three weeks ago, because I thought the situation had lessened substantially, mostly because of vaccination/herd reasons. Apparently not.
People will continue to get sick from COVID from time to time like they do from other illnesses. I don't expect it to become a big deal for most people. Getting vaccinated once a year is probably a good plan. Otherwise, not a big worry compared to most other risks we face in life.
