Here is Hilbert preparing for the great eclipse. He was disappointed that we couldn't see totality, but after going inside for a nap he got over it pretty quickly.

Cats, charts, and politics
true story: someone in upstate NY let their cat out to see the eclipse, and, since cats are cats, it nearly got itself killed chasing a chipmunk across a nearby road. Fortunately they were able to grab the cat and put it back inside.
Cars, outside, are rarely observing the sky.

This photo really shows off his white fur to good effect - my tuxedo cats had smaller white areas, but Hilbert's are striking!
