This is usually the point where I grab a metal folding chair to watch TV.
Apropos of nothing, I got some good shots of the little "rings of fire" on the ground underneath various trees. Also the earlier and later crescent shapes.
The day became surprisingly cold as the eclipse progressed. It didn't seem noticeably less bright, but as the sun moved out of totality, birds started to sing.
