Here is Hilbert relaxing in the garden on a summery day in February. He had just spent some time warming up his fur in a sunny patch and headed off to this nice, shady spot to cool down.

'A summery day in February'.
I could sell mason jars full of February on eBay to help with global warming.
Hiding from Covid?
Numbers still going down...meaning states are getting down to just the regular bad levels of transmission, though most are still "really bad" and a few are "insanely bad" At least none are "batshit crazy bad" for the time being--though a few local areas are that bad, as are the Northern Marina Islands.

As far as the CDC is concerned, the level of risk is still "high" almost everywhere, with some places getting down to "substantial". A few smaller counties bounce around a bit, and a few of them are showing up as low or moderate:
https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view?list_select_state=all_states&list_select_county=all_counties&data-type=Risk
Just so there's no confusion--wear your mask.
and note: the cut off between moderate and substantial risk is 50 cases/100K per week; or ca. 7 new cases daily (average)/100K. MD is doing the best amount the states, as it at 11.1 daily new cases/100K. The numbers are not dropping as fast now, so it might take a week or so to get down to "moderate" transmission levels.
Retiring to the foliage to do what cats do best: ambush.
