Here's Hilbert in his box, staring into the room to keep an eye on Charlie, who was rolling around on the floor while I took this picture. Plus Marian was around. Hilbert loves to keep an eye on Marian.

Hilbert, in his fort, tracked Charlie with one suspicious eye and Miriam with one guarded eye. He knew Charlie was trying to tempt him to jump between Charlie and Miriam just long enough to retake the fort. But he was having none of that; he was going to maintain control of the fort until dinner, dammit.
“Ahhhhhh! The court jester is trying his best to amuse me with his antics. The queen is standing by to prepare my feast. And I don’t have to move a muscle. It is indeed good to be king!”
