I can barely walk to the kitchen without prompting a lengthy attack of uncontrollable shakes and gasping for breath. This is worse than it was a week ago, and if it doesn't resolve soon I'm heading back to the hospital.
For now, though, it means I can't wander around to take pictures of the cats. I can only sit in my chair and wait for them to come to me. Which they do. This is Charlie popping his head up and trying to decide if he wants to jump in my lap. He didn't, which I suppose is all just as well.
He knows something is wrong...
and doesn't know how to help.
Yes - I was thinking that he looks concerned, but decided not to burden Kevin by jumping on his lap. Cats & dogs often recognize even changes that are less noticeable in their humans.
You may be right, but to me, it looked more like Charles was contemplating that big glass of water and the possibility of knocking it over. Maybe that would make The Master get up and walk more normally!
Mr D, you might try making more room in the chair so the kitties can sit beside you. They may not want to crush you down with their massive weight, but would be willing to cuddle alongside.
ahem, --the shakes might be that entire bag of Snickers you've consumed.
or he has been reading the news...
I hope you feel better soon, though the news will be bad for a while.
+1
so sorry to hear it! but glad that you're finally home
I hope that old saying doesn't lie: "That which does not kill me makes me stronger."
Sorry to hear that. Can I get you anymore remote controls?
Charley's expression say it all...as noted by painedumonde...I could not say it better.
Please take it easy and get yourself better...slowly, one step at a time...I entirely trust your intelligence to pick your way forward through this minefield of current difficulty.
It is our duty to conqueror these troubles...now as you have in the past. Best Wishes, Traveller
Agree with Traveller. Sorry to hear, get well soon!
Charlie is photogenic.
Cats know! Take care Kevin.
Best wishes for your health, Kevin.
we're all pulling for you. hope you feel better very soon.
Charlie's sweet face expresses the concern we all feel. Take it easy.
Good, you're hydrating. And fed, sort of. You know you're dating yourself - looks like you have a landline (I do too).
Take care. Hope you can stay out of the hospital.
It's the people who put off going to the ED who should have gone sooner.
Now Charlie looks orangish again… he part chameleon?
Best wishes for a quick recover from whatever is causing your weakness. You are a great researcher and writer. Thank you.
Everyone else beat me to any clever comment. So I'll just say be well, KD.
Kevin I hope you feel better. Thanks for the post in spite of feeling so crummy. Charlie’s a handsome fella.
Meooooow Daddy. Nurse Charlie checking in. You Need a tummy rub, some love....Kitties know
Charlie looks concerned.
You're already taking care of yourself, but maybe you should up the ante.
Charlie, you can take that wanker Palmerston.
