    I'm gripped with sadness. I've been reading since the earliest days and have held out hope that you could win this fight. I can only hope that you can somehow still prevail. I want you to know how much you mean to me and so many others who've written to express their thanks. Thank you Kevin for all you've done and all that you are.

      I wish there were a way for his loyal readers to maintain the blog and the detailed research. The hive mind, so to speak. So many of his readers have had insightful comments and could address the statistics. I would do what I could to get this going.

      I too go back to the Calpundit days. I’ve always admired Kevin’s insistence on following the evidence. He’s been my go-to for the best evidence on numerous topics. I’ve taught his lead impacts research in my classes. He’s fought a long hard fight against myeloma for years, and has researched his treatments and shared the results generously. My heart goes out to Marian. I hope she reads these comments and sees what he’s meant to all of us.

    You have been a part of my life for 25 years or so. Can’t thank you enough for your daily posts filled with knowledge and thought provoking. I cannot thank you enough for all I have learned from your various sites ( Cal Pundit!). Hope and praying you pull through and prevail in this tough fight. I hope and know that you are getting the best of health care. I love all your photos, and some have become beloved screen backgrounds. What a fine mind and person you are.     You will be greatly missed. May the other side be filled with charts, reasoned argument, and of photos of cats, as things over here will be a bit dimmer without the illumination you've always provided.

    I've read your insightful thoughts for a number of years. I hope this is not the end, but I've had a bad feeling about it the last couple of days. I trust that you will recover, but it is clear that you are facing this with quiet stoicism, which I believe is in character. If this is truly the end, we've lost another good person.
