Ivanka’s father-in-law is our new ambassador to France

Congratulations, France, on Charles Kushner, your new ambassador from the United States. And don't think for a moment that this is nothing more than a bit of unusually rancid nepotism to benefit the father of Ivanka Trump's husband. He earned this.

As for all those "other crimes" Kushner committed, Trump pardoned him for that stuff in 2020. It doesn't count anymore.

Totally on brand for Trump. If this upsets you, you probably want to look into the prices on medically-induced comas. The next 4 years ain't gonna be pretty.

Generally the ambassador to France can sometimes be a political patronage position with limited diplomatic experience, but rarely do convicted felons get chosen. At least with diplomatic immunity, he will avoid being charged in France when he commits his next crime, and Ivanka and Jared will have a nice place to stay when they visit.

Il Duce should be doing a search for additional prospective appointees at the Rikers Island Jail, since he may find someone just perfect for his 2nd Reich.

An FU to the world, really. Trump cares so little about non-Americans that he will appoint a vicious criminal to represent the US just as a minor favor to his daughter.
