Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin must be doing something right. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R–LetGodSortItOut) has lost confidence in him.
Amazingly—even for Graham—all Austin said was that Israel should do more to protect civilians in Gaza or else risk driving Palestinians "into the arms of the enemy." That's it. You'd think even Graham would acknowledge the pragmatic wisdom of that.
The point at which Graham loses confidence in somebody represents approximately the highest level of bloodthirstiness any normal person should tolerate. Approval from Graham is a reliable indicator that it's time to rein things in.
Lindsey Graham is like an earthworm that was dropped on his head as a child.
Go easy on Lindsey! He's just trying to counter the "bro with no ho" implication (see https://www.politico.com/story/2015/06/mark-kirk-lindsey-graham-bro-118882) by trying to adopt the most un-sissy stance he can. After all, if you really really want to see people get blown to pieces, . . . you fill in the blanks.
His entire career is based on getting people to bet on how many billiard balls he can fit in his mouth.
Didn't good old Lindsey in 2016 state that "My party has gone batshit crazy", and then became Orange Jesus most reliable sycophant?
So the super progressive wing wants to abandon Biden and pave the way for Orange Jesus, or Haley, and the neocons they will bring into their administration (or in the case of Trump, the blithering idiots/ suck ups). I'm sure they will be far more sympathetic to the plight of Gaza and put the hammer down on Israel. Perhaps they think that Cornel West can win the Primary and the General.
Muslim-Americans should pay attention. If you decide to sit 2024 out because you're upset at Biden, the resulting red wave will give Israel the green light to kill everything in the occupied territories. You will only have yourselves to blame for what happens when Trump reinstates his "Muslim ban", kicks out all of the Palestinian refugees -- something he's recently stated, and tells Israel he'll support anything they want.
And themselves. Aside from massive religious discrimination, the Trump II Reign would see massive deportations, the vast overuse of 'anti-terrorist' laws and judges who look at the current situation and see a pack of liberals.
