This is a foggy autumn morning near Jeanerette, Louisiana. It could probably be a better picture, but I've dicked around with it enough already. I just don't feel like starting over.

The path forward always seems foggy.
Nice photo!
NIce pic. Reminds me a bit of the well-known Cartiet-Bresson pic "Brie, France, 1968" which you should be able to google up.
Watching a bit of the Ketanji Jackson hearings and reading about her, I feel like you should take a bow for your work on the reduction of crime issue. I think it's hard to imagine her nomination (and the Republicans' obvious desperation to paint her as pro-crime, pro-child pornography, ha!) without the huge reduction in crime we've seen over the past 30 years. The GOP is addicted to their "tough on crime" (except, of course, for massive financial crime) image and is obviously confused about what to do without it. In so many ways, the GOP is desperately hoping to hang on to the past.
The GOP is desperately hanging on to the past because it cearly has no future.
clearly
As much as I appreciate the quietude that fog can impose on a day, I like to think that this scene on a small screen shows the light at the end of a pathway.
You call that fog? I can still see the trees. (Coincidentally, there was a patch of fog hovering over our neighborhood this morning, maybe half a mile across or so. Plus more snow. Springtime in Albuquerque!)
