This is a pair of European starlings at sunrise on the border fence. They have their feathers puffed up to stay warm.

Life... life finds a way.
Some, I assume, are good people . . .
Undocumented aliens.
By the way, here's what we're looking for in a hummingbird photo (from a recent photo contest): https://www.birdwatchingdaily.com/wp-content/gallery/2020-bird-portrait-contest-finalists/f-h-allens-hummingbird.jpeg
Look at those spread tail feathers! Notice how the two feathers either side of center sort of dip inwards near the tip along their outer edges? This is characteristic of male Allen's Hummingbird. On a male Rufous Hummingbird, the dip is much more pronounced, and looks like a notch has been taken out of the feather. See here for an example: https://fieldguidetohummingbirds.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/ruhugreen.jpg
So try to get a shot like these next time with the hummingbirds that visit your yard. It's all we ask.
Of course, I noticed my error within two seconds of hitting Post....
The Rufous notch is on the inside edge, rather than the outside edge.
How do we know they aren't carrying drugs or weapons under there? You say they're puffed up to stay warm, I say they're pouring across our border because they hates are freedums and they wants to does us harm. FREEDUM!!
