Lunchtime Photo

I guess I can't put this off forever.  This is a lovely bird at the San Diego Zoo, but I forgot to take a picture of the ID plaque and I can't seem to figure out what it is from googling. So what is it, folks?

UPDATE; By "folks," everyone knows I meant "Steve." It's a Nicobar Pigeon, a close relative of the extinct dodo.

Oh, come on. That one's so easy. It's obviously a Nicobar Pigeon.

Fun fact: The Nicobar Pigeon is the closest extant relative of the extinct Dodo.

It's easy for the human encyclopedia, but we aren't all repositories of such wide-ranging knowledge!

Don't see much resemblance to the dodo, but am glad that this bird isn't extinct.

    Heh.

The related images did lead me to the Nicobar, though. So score 1/2 point for Google.
