Sunset at Huntington Beach. This picture was taken a few minutes after this one, so the lights are on along the pier. It's also cropped wider and more dramatically since I didn't have a human figure I wanted to highlight.

The pier, the lights, the sky all march inexorably toward the vanishing point. The hut in the right foreground provides a second focus and balance. Nice composition and colors.

Did you use a textured brush to dodge the area between the lifeguard station and the bottom of the frame? I can see artifacts.
I much prefer this version over the Surfer in the foreground...though each has their charms.
I do not seem to be able to go big on this image to check for the artifacts noted by
D_Ohrk_E1.
In any case to my eye, an impressive image.
Oh, 1st time out in maybe a year...I'm going to try dinner in Hollywood tonight....the question being how to get back my old life, to re-enter society? sigh...not as easy as one might think.
