Lunchtime Photo

Astronomy week sputters to a close today.

My weekend trip to the desert yielded three images (the comet, the Orion Nebula, and a star trails picture), so I don't have anything for today. My only choice is to use an older astronomy photo, but I don't have any of those in the queue either.

What do do? Well, I have one picture that I eventually deleted because I never quite got it to work. So I decided to resurrect it and give it another try, which you can see below. It's the moon and Jupiter taken a few months ago, and it's OK. Not great, but OK.

Next week: the return of terrestrial photos!

Kind of spooky...I like it a lot. Out in the dark, 200 years ago, making your way by moonlight...and Jupiter in the distance....like I say, Spooky. Best Wishes, T

I work from home with two children and am paid more than $200 per hour. My best friend, who makes over $10,000 a month doing this, persuaded me to give it a shot even though I never believed I'd be able to. This has limitless possibilities. Here are my recent activities. Also, GOOD LUCK.

At first I thought that only Eve was going to comment, because the picture is, how should I say this, kind of Ho- hum, but then Traveller showed up.
    Well done Traveller!

Nonsense, I think it's a good photo. I spend a lot of time outside at night (long story, just go with it) and don't often see photos that do a good job of capturing what a night scene really looks or feels like.

I think the picture is beautiful and also intriguing. Taking time to slow down and really sink into the picture reveals a lot more there than just a cursory glance allows. I actually love the picture!
