This is no ordinary blackbird. This is a French blackbird. Round up 23 more of them and you can make a pie.

Historically, don't you need four and twenty English blackbirds for that pie?

Could Kevin be thinking of French hens?

I accidentally searched for TWO and twenty blackbirds & found this snippet as one of those answers to questions submitted to Google, so no URL:
The rhyme represents King Henry VII's Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 2530s ; the blackbirds represent the choirs of the monasteries who baked a pie to earn favor with the king. July 19,2020
Since that didn't adequately explain it, I found the following lengthy history lesson, which at least explains why Henry had plenty of money to count. But beware- if this seems too long to plow through & not an exact line-by-line explanation of the nursery rhyme, there are several other related online sources for some other explanations linking this to Blackbeard -'I'm too tired of reading to have sufficient remaining interest to follow up!

That's the look of a bird who has carefully considered where and when and just how the best, most effective dump can be achieved.
The Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe --he can tell you the finer points of every part of Paris.
Okay, where are the Drum Family Cats when you need them?
Oh Christ. Charlie came in with a bird in his mouth this morning, and then a few hours later came in with a lizard.
