I just watched one of those arthouse movies that was way too dark and apparently also out of focus. That trend isn't anything that I like. Just sayin' ...
Oh, and it was "The Vast of Night", which all the arthouse critics raved over, gushing about how wonderful, bold, and imaginative that a movie was made in 2020 that echoed "schlock 1950s sci-fi flicks." Magnificent!
... unless you've been seeing those movies throughout the 1950s and 1960s and just regard it as the same old, same old tired "OOOOO! Aliens in flying saucers!" schtick.
Okay, my rant is over. Sorry.
