This is Angela, a young gorilla on a mission. I don't know what her mission is, but apparently it involves some sticks and she's obviously determined to see it through.
The bottom photo is Kelly, the tribe's silverback. He's keeping a close eye on things because you never know what Angela might be up to.
The Angelas of the human world should be watched and kept eyes upon too---in fact, it was thus for thousands of years until recent decades.
Doesn't that tell us something "fundamental?"

Kelly knew where this was headed. "Sticks and stones, Angela. Sticks and stones break bones. Use your words, Ang."
PLOP!
"Hey big boy, you know what else doesn't break bones? Shit. You like that?"
Kelly knew better than to respond. But as he wiped poo off his face, the Monkeys -- Fred, Shelly, and the kids -- were noisily LOLing, which then got the attention of the rest of the primate section. Joe and Mary Orangutan joined in, but the worst were the Howler twins. They laughed so loud, the entire zoo caught notice and now the Elephants were laughing along with the Leopards, the Crows, and the Geese.
WTF Ang?!? Kelly's humiliation and rage exploded. I'm the king of the jungle! "RAAAAAH!"
The entire zoo went silent.
Kelly grinned with satisfaction. Yeah, muthafuckas, that's what I thought.
PLOP!
And that was the day Kelly learned who wore the pants in the Gorilla household.
Geez, that Angela really looks to be on a mission and I for one am not about to get in her way.
At the end of Why going vegan is a ‘manly’ thing to do the author recounts the following exchange in a gym:
“Man, you need meat to build muscle and be strong.”
“Tell that to a gorilla,” I said.
+100
Angela has work to do; Kelly, not so much.
Those sticks look like they are ment for someone. Gorillas know...as Kitties know.
