This is a sunbittern at the LA Zoo. After it flashed its tail at me I stuck around for quite a while hoping for a repeat, but this was the best I got. When it's fully spread out and up in the air it's pretty spectacular.

That's its wing, not its tail.

It's the DAILY SPAM - still up a day later.
Are they all one- legged?
The bird is stretching, and birds typically do it one side at a time. So, left wing, left leg, and left half of tail, then right wing, right leg, and right half of tail. (Or vice versa.) This bird's left leg is stretched out to the side, but is obscured by the wing.
You’re the man! ????
