    Lying on your resume is considered adequate grounds for dismissal by most companies. For once I would like to see the government operate like a business.

      Well lying on your resume when competing for a Federal Job is considered grounds for dismissal too! What you really mean is you'd like it to also apply to politicians as well. SIGH.

    I'll be willing to bet that among the 260 or so Democrats there is at least one who did enough to generate a false equivalency.

    And I bet the right-wing media will turn one up before long.

    I presume McCarthy intended to put "and" in that sentence so it would read "...here AND in the Senate."

    However, that certainly suggests that a thorough background check on McCarthy is called for; it sounds like he speaks from experience.
