Trump will vote for 6-week abortion ban

I see that Donald Trump has finally decided how he's going to vote on an initiative that would repeal Florida's six week abortion ban. He doesn't like six weeks, but he's voting No anyway. Why? Because Democrats in other states are crazy.

OK, sure, whatever. In reality, the Florida initiative would allow abortion until viability, which is roughly around 24 weeks. So Trump, who prefers 15 weeks, had to decide between 24 weeks and 6 weeks. I have to admit, that's a knife edge for the poor guy.

In any case, Trump must have felt that he had finally pushed his anti-abortion fans too hard and needed to throw them a bone. This was it.

Of course he will. Then be in favor of something that's almost the complete opposite sometime in the near future. When you don't care about anything saying you're for or against something is meaningless.

You give him too much credit.

He first said he would vote yes. Then the backlash started. He changed his tune saying Democrats wanted to make abortions legal "in the ninth month", which is not what Florida Amendment 4 says. All the ballot initiative said was that abortions would be legal until viability or when a woman's health was endangered.

So, now no one trusts him, not even the "pro-life" folks.

They finally realized his a lying P.O.S.? lol. But somehow they will still vote for him because being a democrat is the 8th newly named deadly sin. Says so in the Trump bible.

It should be: "Trump said he will vote for 6-week abortion ban"

The original text takes what Trump says he will do as indication of actual intention, which is frankly idiotic.

I guess his handlers told him that his waffling on abortion messaging will cost him more votes with the forced birthers than he will get from the choice folks, and of course, he really doesn't give a shit about the issue. Its easier for him to sell free, on demand IVF on every street corner instead, to prove just how pro woman he is. Vance is of course doing a great job championing woman's rights.

Makes it somewhat easier for Harris to bash in his head on the issue.
