OR got out of the pool and WY jumped in (10 new cases/day/100K or less)

FL broke through the 25 new cases/day/100K barrier, CO and AK are right behind, WV took a breather on that climb, and NE and ND pulling up the rear.

Looks like most of the red states have eased up a bit on their climbs, though MN is still rising fast. All but MN and FL are well into the 30%'s first vaccination, though still no plunge in hospitalizations or deaths. Granted, not seeing corresponding rise in deaths, at least not yet.

Infectivity rates greater than one in 36 states (and territories), less than one in 15.

Chicago reports rise in cases, Cook Co. infectivity at 1.18, 29.7% first injection, and new cases mainly 20 and 30 somethings. Most will probably be fine, though there will be "long haulers" in that group.

CA still doing well, at 6.7 new cases/day/100K, cases and hospitalizations are down, and deaths are still falling (ignoring blips and data dumps), and 32% first dose.

TX bouncing between 11 and 14 new cases/day/100K, hospitalization down (and leveling?), with deaths dropping, and 27% first dose. Hot spots, and green zones, in low population counties (<100K).

I don't know if it's a data anomaly, but Michigan's death counts barely rose for the past week, even though their case counts have been going up briskly for six straight weeks now.
