Big news from the Wall Street Journal!
But how long has this Twitter holiday been? Inquiring minds want to know and the Journal is here to tell us:
The billionaire chief executive of Tesla Inc. last posted on June 21, marking Thursday as the most extended silence since October 2017. Normally a serial tweeter, he hasn’t gone more than six days without tweeting since January 2018, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of tweet data.
Click the link and you'll get 500 words and a chart about Musk's Twitter habits. American journalism is on the job.
Remember, it's a business publication first and foremost, and Musk's tweets for some of their readers are like living near a volcano.
Have to assume he’s got a bit of a rebellion on his hands about moving Tesla to Texas. Betcha a lot of highly educated engineers refuse to move themselves and/or their families there.

To a younger generation of journalists, Twitter is the world and the world is Twitter. I see lots of news articles that are simply a string of embedded tweets.
But Twitter has been around since the Bush-43 administration. It's very millennial, at best, if not late Gen X (why does no one say Gen Y, anymore?), & those people are damn near forty. Twitter, therefore, us CHEUGY AF.
Is he still trying to buy it or has he given that up?
Don't jinx it, Kevin.

His silence has given us 5.7 picoseconds of respite.
Kevin’s criticism seems sour grapes. It is something right up his charting alley. Must is certainly not the POTUS or Russian Premier or even Generalissimo Francisco Franco, but he certainly would be someone for whom lack of activity would be noticed. The question is of course is Elon Musk valiantly hanging on in his fight to remain off-Twitter? …
