Fox News declares inflation over

Guess what? Inflation is over! According to Fox News, anyway:

Inflation itself hasn't changed over the past couple of weeks, but for some reason Fox News doesn't seem to care about it anymore. Here's a longer look:

Sadly, the Internet Archive suffered some technical difficulties right before the election, so the series is interrupted. But as you can see, for months and months Fox hosts were obsessed with inflation, mentioning it 10 to 20 times a day. This week it's down to two or three.

Remarkable, no? Inflation has been running around 3% for more than a year but it remained vitally newsworthy anyway the whole time. Until November 6.

They are a a pox on America….If I remember correctly we can blame Bill Clinton for letting that scum bag buy Fox. Foreign ownership rules and Market saturation rules. All changed for Rupert.

That is considerable understatement. It was hit with multiple DoS attacks by folks claiming they were doing it for Palestine.

Can we still scold Democrats for not properly addressing the concerns of people who were pretending to be concerned about the economy?

Can we still look down on people who point at statistics which show the economy and people at all income levels are faring pretty well right now?

Don’t forget the polls showing most people said they were doing well financially and their local communities but the national economy was bad. So not suffering

To be fair talking about the upcoming presidency is sucking a lot of the air out of the room so to speak. I think it likely that the pattern Kevin identified will continue but Gaetz, RFK, etc. are very distracting for everyone.

So . . . Fox News admits it! Joe Biden tamed inflation!
Except that Fox News viewers probably all think Trump is president now.
