We had a bit of rain last night, so this morning Hilbert got to jump on the fence¹ and pose for a beauty shot with a lovely background of puffy white clouds. Here's hoping the rest of the day is clear and brilliant too.
¹OK, fine, he didn't jump. I picked him up and put him there.

As long as Hilbert doesn't mind being repositioned - might have saved him some effort- & hasn't been photoshopped, I'm fine with the photographer's admission. Always seems handsome, dignified; makes me wonder if he's always quiet.

I'm impressed. I could never get a single one of my cats to pose for anything. That is unless I wanted a shot of their butts with tail held high. I got lots of those.
The other option for me was always curled up asleep on the couch.

This is interesting. Apparently Pence is smarter than he seems. The whole thing reminds me of the scene in The Godfather where Carlo gets into a car that Michael has waiting for him, thinking that it’s his ride to the airport. Instead, Clemenza’s in the backseat and garrotes Carlo from behind.
The only difference is that Pence isn’t surrounded by Trump’s guys. He’s got his own secret service guys and isn’t stupid enough to get into the car and be taken away by Secret Service agents who apparently belong to Trump. An operation which perfectly demonstrates why Trump’s a Fredo and not a Michel
