Charlie's no longer the lean, lithe young feline who charmed us soon after the loss of Hopper, but I still love him despite reports of his recent activities - just please don't give us any photos of a triumphalist Charlie posing with any victims.
I'm just grateful that when a squirrel or bird approaches our patio, there is only a brief face-off, followed by the wild intruder & my tortoiseshell companion racing away in opposite directions. Contrary to reports by others here, there seem to be some cats who only play chicken & aren't the most ferocious predators.
