We took Charlie to the vet last week and the diagnosis was that he had an infection. So Charlie got an antibiotic shot and we got a tube of goop that we spread daily on the sore spot on his leg. He has to wear the cone for an hour after we put on the goop, but that's it.
So Charlie is cone-free 23 hours a day, and he's mighty happy about that. Here he is rolling around on the floor while Hilbert, Marian, and I look on.
Meooooow. It feels great to be free ! Kitties know
Awww…Makes me want to go out and kill a lizard…
But is all forgiven?
Some affronts to feline dignity take a long time to heal- & for the cat to recognize his/her human again.
Released from the cone of shame, Charli rolled, kinked, and crooked under the Sun's warm rays and looked back at the fam. "Am I's still brat?"
Happy cat!
I assume Charles was appropriately compensated for his hour of indignity.
OMG he looks like a praying mantis.
