Health update

This is now officially one of the worst experiences of my life. Two of the top three have involved neupogen, a white blood stimulant. In fairness, it worked spectacularly this time around (0.5 to 14.7 in less than 48 hours) but the pain and other side effects were horrible.

I'm better now, but this morning I was still super tired and a doctor decided for some reason that this might be due to neurological problems as opposed to, you know, not getting any sleep during the night. So a couple of hours later a nurse came in and told me I would be getting a steroid later in the day. This immediately raised my suspicions. "What kind of steroid?" Do I even have to tell you that it's dexamethasone, aka the Evil Dex?

I'm going to try to talk my way out of this. I'm genuinely not suffering any neurological problems, and I really don't want to be up all night again. We'll see.

In the meantime, enjoy this coronation video.

Really sorry to hear about your challenges, Kevin. Best wishes for getting out of this world of pain very soon.

Google paid 99 dollars an hour on the internet. Everything I did was basic Οnline w0rk from comfort at hΟme for 5-7 hours per day that I g0t from this office I f0und over the web and they paid me 100 dollars each hour. For more details visit

Evil dex obviously warped your judgment. Cats are royalty, dogs impostors.

You don't have a medical document expessing No Dex?

The chart says DND, meaning "Do not Dex," but the nurses thought it meant that Kevin likes to play Dungeons and Dragons.

You are doing really well, Kevin. I know this has had some truly challenging parts to it but the bigger picture is that you're going to be incredibly healthy really soon. We are all cheering for you and remembering you in our thoughts and prayers.

Well, I think this is funny. Not so sure Kevin will appreciate it, with his neurological problems and all. 😄

You don't need to "talk your way out of this", you just need to give them a firm hard no. You have a right to refuse any treatment or part of treatment for any reason.

Oh dear, sorry to hear about this. On a happier note It seems as though you haven’t lost your sense of humor which is a good thing. Be calm and carry on, stiff upper lip, etc.

For Pete's sake, show them that you can post in your inimitable normal style - or maybe create one of your charts - to demonstrate that you're functioning normally, despite the pain.

But your mention of a coronation video was scary - have had enough of Charles since Christine Lavin's song about him - until I scrolled down. Thanks for that. dspcole is right - you can demonstrate your sense of humor despite the pain. That should be sufficient proof that you're not neurologically impaired.

You DO still know who's president now, right?

Thanks for the priceless video. I'm terribly sorry for your travails, but super glad to hear you're without neurological symptoms. You're still our Kevin.

NO DEX--unless it's going to be a clear moonless night so you can get good picts of the Milky Way.

I suspect the Doctor is trying to stick the regime--though I'd guess Evil Dex shouldn't be long term this time around.

So sorry to hear of these latest travails, but thank you for the continuing updates. This is a case where "thoughts and prayers" really is the only thing I can do, so I'm thinking positive thoughts on your behalf.

I hoped you laughed as much as I did at His Royal Highness King Dog. His regal bearing leads me to imagine a backstory is which he thinks he really is the king, and demands fealty from other members of the household, who comply with his demands rather than experience the tantrums he throws if they don't.
