Nothing new to report on the multiple myeloma front this month:
Over the last three months my M-protein level has been 0.46, 0.44, and now 0.47. In other words, completely flat, meaning the cancer is under control. No news is good news.

Good news indeed.
Glad to hear this, as always. Take care, and thanks for the info.
Since nobody has said it yet in this thread---and I don't think I've ever said it to you in all the years you've been providing these updates---thank-you for this simple and important act of courage. We still live with the lingering echoes of a society in which people did not talk about "the big C" in public, when cancer was feared and cancer patients were often shunned and isolated. By writing and posting about your cancer for all these years, you've provided an invaluable service for countless people. Thank-you.
Well said.
I want to sign on to masscommons's note too. I remember when these problems first arose for Kevin and am very glad to know the therapies are doing so well for him, as well as appreciative of his notes. His openness reminds me of Stephen Jay Gould many years ago and likewise has helped reshape my thinking about health tribulations. Thanks for saying this so well, and thanks Kevin.
I am glad that your medical care appears superior to that which many of us receive & hope that your good news is repeated many times over. Sometimes I think that the most negative commenters here need to consider whether or not nasty remarks are really warranted when they disagree with you, & that isn't the same as being afraid to engage in honest disagreement because of your ongoing medical struggle.
Unpleasant as the question may be, how would the last three months be the apt time range for evaluation? It would appear the last change in treatment regime was 12 months ago.
Glad to hear it! You’ve been my favorite pundit since the days of Calpundit.
Sending you continued good vibes from the other side of the country Kevin.
No news is GREAT news.
For when clonal evolution once again requires new treatment protocols, mRNA-based CAR-T cell treatment for Multiple Myeloma, in Phase II, with a Dec 2022 end date: https://bityl.co/7XWY
Phase I did not result in cytokine release syndrome that is commonly associated with traditional CAR-T cell treatment. Fingers crossed this type of protocol might be a pathway towards the cure of MM.
Great news, Kevin. Keep it up!
Félicitations !
Great news. Our prayers are with you.
