I bought a new chair a few months ago and it finally arrived last week. When we set it up, however, it looked lonely. So we hauled in the teal chair that had been exiled to the living room and set it up next to the new one. What I ended up with looks like a perfect set for an interview show:
All I need now are some good lights; professional microphones; a nice camera; interesting guests willing to come to Irvine; and some decent interviewing skills.
In other words, no interview YouTube channel for me. But if I ever change my mind, I'm all set.
And Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer are available!
I was thinking more between two ferns, with the often incredulous Drum in the Galifianakis role.
we can take up a collection to buy the ferns...,how long will they last with the cats?
You'd have to guard against everyone falling asleep in those comfy chairs.
That room doubles (and works great, I bet) as a home theater.
As Barbara Stanwyck says in “Ball of Fire”: that’s a lot of books; all of ‘em different?
(script by Billy Wilder)
It's the bookwall for when Drum ends up on RateMySkypeRoom.
It's elementary to learn those skills but I was wondering if those chairs reside at an address with a half number.
the heart of the drum world empire!
You could call it the Hilbert and Hopper nap show and just let them do the napping.
People would watch that!
Might even give the National Zoo's Panda Cam a run for the money.
Yeah, I need a comfy chair for my office. I've got the desk, monitors and really good desk chair but at crunch time last year, I really needed a close by place to rotate to while I waited on stand by as we approached midnight.
Kevin needs to move to a place where he can have weather the way god intended it, as an existential threat.
The Santa Ana winds are an existential threat actually. Apparently according to FEMA the US county with the lowest risk of natural disaster is Loudon County, Virginia. Yes they get winter weather but low risk of hurricanes, not much lowlands at risk for major flooding and the mountains modulate storms approaching from the west.
People who live in areas where they might get hit by a tornado have tornado dreams. It's usually some variation on the thing imminently appearing, with warnings and maybe sighting it on the horizon, and running around trying to save things and get them to a safe area, but then it's all taking way too long and you look out a window and it's right there, and, at that point, you might try to quickly get a better look, then you wake up.
I had a new version last week, a derecho dream. It began with seeing the line of winds approaching on the radar and I knew I had a few minutes before it really hit so I went outside but it was already blowing horrifically and I couldn't imagine it could get worse but I knew it was about to get a lot worse.
Have we learned nothing from seinfeld?

Sneakily one of Jerry's more racist episodes.
Have faith big guy (I don’t know really). You have built it, they will come!!
Heh. Be sure to wait until AFTER the pandemic before inviting people into your home! Remember, you're among the immuno-compromised.
Needs more wall clocks.
😉
You might have hit on a newTV talk show model: Proud and Liberal Geriatrics! Young and buxom maids, including trans, could serve drinks. I’d watch that.
The Mc Laughlin Group finally receives a liberal challenge.
^^^All I need now are some good lights; professional microphones; a nice camera; interesting guests willing to come to Irvine^^^
I'm both interesting and I'm willing to come to Irvine!
Nice room.
You'd just have to be careful that all those books didn't fall on the interviewee's head ????
“Like”. That would be in lieu of the non-existent like from WordPress. Sigh. Nothing’s perfect. We can do “like” and “respect” manually; it’s a more than fair trade for being liberated from Coral.
