I like the addition of quotes on your masthead, and even see this name I err liberated. One of my recent favorite quotes that you've been running

"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect. —Frank Wilhoit"

Turns out it's a completely different Frank Wilhoit, not that I think it should matter.

I started putting out hummingbird feeders when I was on the porch putting my shoes on and one of them flew down, hovered a couple of feet from my nose, and stared at me for a good solid minute or so.

I figured it was trying to tell me something.

It was deciding if you might be either a good food source or a source of nesting material. A few years ago, I was standing near the top of a mountain in the Ecuadorian Andes when a female Ecuadorian Hillstar (a rather large hummingbird) flew in front of my face and stared me down for several seconds, then landed on top of my head and started tugging at my hair.
