Last time I saw a picture of the Matterhorn, it was in Canada. That mountain peak sure does get around.

Not as much as Monument Valley. It appears there's a contractual obligation that it appear prominently in ever Western movie. Some teevie shows, too (see "Dark Winds".)

I always wondered why there's extra long poles at the top. Is it rebar? Is it something they mount on? Antenna? Supposed to look like Goofy's ski poles?
Certainly a scene I saw in a winter sky more than once. Best time to go to Disneyland ^-^

My guess for the poles would be something to do with various stuff that happens up there such as Tinkerbell (or Mary Poppins) “flying” down, fireworks, mountain climbers, etc.
