Republicans oppose Feinstein post office in San Francisco

Joe Biden signed 50 new bills into law this Christmas Eve, including this one:

A measure (S. 4077) — opposed by several dozen House Republicans — to name a post office in California after the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D).

They just can't help themselves, even during Christmas. What a pack of assholes.

Perhaps the Dan White Post Office (the guy who killed Harvey Milk and George Moscone) would be acceptable to MAGA. They may like the Harry Callahan Post Office even better, but of course, Dirty Harry was fictional (I believe).

Yep. Amongst many other wonderful attributes. The apogee of our great nation. Our best and brightest. A shining beacon to the world. And it's only going to get better and better.

Really, though, naming buildings after people is a tired practice, although not as egregious as naming rights on stadiums.

Totally agree. Nothing owned by the government should be named after a person. Private entities are free to do what they want.

Wouldn't be surprised if a Republican Congress wants to officially call 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue "The Trump White House" and the Washington Monument "Trump's Dick"

Maybe include in the bill a provision naming a Post Office for Trump. I would suggest one (or several) on Louis DeJoy's list of PO's he plans to close. Could be a great way to keep them open - imagine the angst of Republicans being asked to go along with closing the Donald Trump Post Office in Middle-Of-Nowhere, North Dakota.
