I have to admit that on my "things that will provoke massive political unrest" bingo card, I didn't have war in the Middle East. There's always war in the Middle East! Live and learn.

Iran is really denying they had any part in putting Hamas up to this, so that really just leaves Russia.
Or Netanyahu. (Weirdly enough.)
In case anyone is wondering what's going on in the Israeli press right now:

BTW, IDF released video of the Hamas tunnel they found, with an entrance between buildings at the al-Shifa Hospital complex. You can tell it's not faked because the videographer pans up to see the context of the al-Shifa Hospital's buildings and tents of Gazans who sought refuge in the hospital complex.
There are a number of tunnels connecting buildings on the University of Minnesota campus. Sometimes, as a grad student many years ago, I would use them to avoid exposure to the forty-below Minnesota wind chill. Fortunately, they were clear of terrorists.
Of course, they weren't constructed to shelter chilly students, they were for various utilities, but large enough for service personnel to access and work. Not an unusual thing on campuses, whether educational, medical, industrial ....
In Minnesota, if it's not connected by skyway, it's connected by tunnel. The state office buildings and the state capital are also connected by a tunnel system, which is actually designed for people to use. State workers use them all the time.
