It's getting late, and Charlie is waiting for Marian to wake up so they can go upstairs to bed. It didn't take long.

What a cozy couple! Just got back from an appointment; The lack of pain is ... absolutely amazing. I should not have skipped last month's shot. Against my doctor's mild but firm advice in retrospect.

(Some) cats like to sit/sleep next to us, or on us. Is that because they like us, or is it because we’re a source of warmth?

Both. Our body temps are lower than cats' by a good bit, so I have to think it's more because they like us, or at least trust us, and at least we're not as cold as, say, a wall.

Always late to the comments party, but I love this photo. (I want to see the quilt hanging above the sofa, too.)
