   Kind of hard to come up with anything snarky to say while looking at that Photograph....

   Perfect use of B&W for this subject. Can't help but wonder if she is praying for a coronavirus victim.

   I dunno. B&W photography in MOST churches doesn't work for me. They become dark, almost sinister places. Their use of dark woods needs to be offset by vibrant colors in the paintings and windows which can only be displayed by a color photo. Most older churches are indeed beautiful, and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore is a prime example. Personally I think the photo diminishes that beauty. The subject is great! The photo not so much
